Paradox: Derived from Greek, where “para” means “beyond” and “doxa” means “opinion” or “belief.
A thin space is what a paradox unveils. A space that separates what is known, that which the mind has reasoned or believed, from what is unknown to the mind. A thin space where reason comes to and can’t cross. A point where life is beyond reason.
It is a space where duality disappears.
Meditation is a way of coming to this space again and again and again. Because the mind can’t remember or grasp its state when in this space. So it has to journey to it in every practice of meditation. And hence, meditation is a never ending journey for the mind.
I have experienced a lot of wonderful insights in my few years of meditation. It has evolved from what I thought it was to what I think of it now, and will keep evolving. For me, it has been a flow from experiencing body and breath through yoga, to watching thoughts and of late experiencing the awareness beyond it.

Mind is a beautiful piece of creation. It is like a virtual organ. Just like a virtual memory in a computer abstracts physical memory like hard disk and provides utilitarian functionality, the mind abstracts anything and everything. Think of it as a Generic Virtual Machine(GVM). Observe the brain through the mind, and it abstracts what you know of it like neurons running or monkeys spinning wheels, whatever is your belief. Observe a man walking down the street, and the mind can abstract it to be whatever is your belief that comes up, a shabbily dressed professor or a homeless or a rich man dressed under-whelmingly is all your(mind’s) way of abstracting and finding meaning.
If you have noticed how a virtual memory works, the abstraction is a way for it to provide more memory to an application than there exists on the sole belief that the application wont use all the memory at the same time. Similarly, the mind runs multiple beliefs as it experiences events and evaluates one against another knowing that all of them can’t be experienced at the same time by it.
